The educational and workforce development services that the youth generally receive will result in them acquiring a high school diploma for the year-round program.  The youth will have to complete English, math, science and social studies.  These educational services will help to meet the intended outcome of diploma attainment.  The youth will be engaged in the program for twenty-four weeks.  Upon entering the program, each youth will have to complete a pre-test.  This assessment will be used to establish the youth’s Individual Service Plan.  If a youth is well below grade level, they will be placed in the pre-online diploma program to assist them in increasing their literacy and/or numeracy levels.  Intense tutoring will be offered during this period.  Youth that have diverse learning styles will receive individualized instruction to address their specific needs.

Alternative Daytime Academic Online High School Diploma Program

  • Young adults and adults who have aged out of school, do not have enough credit hours to be promoted to the next grade, cannot meet your current school requirements for graduation, repeating your current grade or a grade for the second time, and disconnected from school for two or more years. 

WRAP (Working Rapidly for Alternative Placement)

  • This program is for youth who has been adjudicated and pre-adjudicated of which he/she is referred through Region 1 or 2.  CHOICE will work to ensure all court orders are met and youth are in compliance and any additional services that is needed at the request of the youth and/or identified by staff is put in place for the best interest of the youth. Educational needs for participating youth will be given at the learning level of the youth. Our goal is to meet each student future goals and opportunity at its best.

YA-ACE (Young Adults and Adults Continuing their Education)

  • This program is for youth who are in the community and wishes to obtain their high school diploma, get workforce development, assist with future goals for higher education, get vocational training, and develop hands on work skills through community service hour that will connected to a career of their choice.

EACT (Educational Academic Curriculum Tutoring)

  • This program proves students who request/need additional assistance with problem subjects and spelling words.  Students who score below the required curriculum level will get tutoring in TABE to increase scores. Educational Academic Curriculum Tutoring is for students in need of tutoring and mentoring with their online academic, class projects, community service hours, and assistance with spelling words.

PG-ECWFD (Post-Graduate Education to Career Workforce Development)

  • This program is to prove student who has obtained their high school diploma will enroll in our Workforce Development program. This program gives them the opportunity to complete their resume, fill out applications online and paper, has on-site interviews, role-play with peers, learn what should be offered on the job from their employer, benefits for attending College, Vocational Training, On-the-Job Training, and Employment- CVOE
